Stories From Workcamp, as told by 2nd year Summer Staffer, Kim Martin:

Flooring Before     Crew 36 was working on Pat and Steve's home in Anderson County Tennessee. Pat and Steve were very grateful for any work that was being done. All that was being painted or built was for their precious granddaughter, Tiffany. Tiffany was diagnosed with a disease that has left her unable to take care of herself and bound to a bed for the rest of her life. Tiffany's grandparents, along with visiting house Flooring Afternurses, have been taking care of her at home since she was diagnosed.
The crew that came to work on the home was more than ready to help out Pat, Steve and Tiffany. All throughout the week, the neighbors expressed endless gratitude for what was being done for them and the impact it had on their lives. However, Pat, Steve and Tiffany did not realize how much they were impacting others who came in contact with them through their love and faithfulness to Jesus, even when times were tough throughout their life.
The week was coming to an end and one of the youth groups had a surprise for Pat, Steve and Tiffany. The youth group prayerfully decided to buy the family a gift of great value to them, more specifically, to Tiffany. They bought a shower lift for their home and raised the money for it in the duration of workcamp week. Many tears of joy and relief were shed by Pat and Steve on the day (Miracle Friday) they were told about their gift. And, indeed it was a Miracle Friday for this family. The Lord truly does work for the good of those who love Him. Pat, Steve, and Tiffany are in the tie-dyed shirts in the picture below. Crew 36
