At first I was skeptical about coming to Reach Workcamps. I thought I wouldn’t have very much fun. After all how much fun can you really have while slaving over a house all day? After the first day of work, I knew I was completely wrong. I have never had so much fun working on a house. This was a great experience. My workcrew was amazing, the troubleshooters were awesome and I can’t even begin to describe the residents. Everything worked out so well and I’m so glad God gave me this opportunity.”

Reach Workcamps really made a huge impact on my life. The people here are amazing. I’ve met people here who have changed my life. Doing work for a family in need is such an amazing feeling, to know that you are making a difference in someone else’s life. God truly shows himself through the people and the work that is done here. I wish I could do this everyday for the rest of my life.”

My thanks to you for sending help to make my mobile home look good – I would like to commend the persons selected to work on these projects. The first day the temperature was 91 degrees but everyone went to work without a murmur – a lovely group of men and women whom I love dearly. At no time during the five day period was there ever a cross look at anyone in the group – it was literally Christianity in overalls.”

They built me a wheelchair ramp! Now I can go out and get my mail all by myself. Each day, I take a glance outside in disbelief because of this great wheelchair ramp these kids built!”
